1. About us & acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pitch Karo India website, founder platform, events and services (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account, registering for an event, claiming an earlier registration, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts are mandatory
A free platform account is required to register for events, claim an earlier registration, submit a pitch, or access the founder dashboard. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be 18+ (or have guardian consent).
3. Event registration & the ₹249 fee
Registration for our flagship event (e.g., Pitch Karo India 2026) is a one-time fee of ₹249 (inclusive of taxes) per participant unless stated otherwise on the event page. The fee includes live pitch entry, an AI gap-analysis report, jury evaluation, and founder-dashboard access for that event. There is no membership or recurring charge. Fees, dates, venues, formats and deadlines may change; material changes will be announced on the Platform.
4. Carry-over of earlier registrations (“Claim”)
If you registered for Pitch Karo India 2026 on our earlier portal, your registration remains valid and carries over to this Platform at no extra cost. To activate it, create an account using the same email you registered with and choose “I already registered — claim my profile.” We will verify your details against our registration records (typically within 24–48 hours) and mark your dashboard “Registration confirmed”. If we cannot match your details, we may request proof (such as your payment confirmation) at hello@pitchkaroindia.com. Verification decisions are made in good faith based on our records.
5. Pitches, evaluation & prizes
Pitch slots, shortlisting, jury composition, evaluation criteria, prize amounts and winners are determined by Pitch Karo India and its jury; such decisions are final. Prize pools and benefits described on the Platform are subject to the official event rules published for each event. Prizes may be subject to applicable taxes (e.g., TDS) and verification of identity.
6. Your content & intellectual property
You keep full ownership of your startup, idea and materials. By submitting a pitch or founder story, you grant Pitch Karo India a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote that content on the Platform and our channels (including publishing your startup story, event photos and recordings of your pitch). You confirm your submissions are your own and do not infringe others’ rights. You may request removal of your published story by writing to hello@pitchkaroindia.com; removal does not affect content already legitimately shared or archived.
7. Confidentiality of your idea
Live pitching is a public format. While jurors and mentors act in good faith, Pitch Karo India cannot guarantee confidentiality of information you choose to present publicly. Do not disclose trade secrets you are not comfortable sharing; consider sharing sensitive details only under separate agreements with interested parties.
8. Code of conduct
No harassment, hate speech, plagiarism, fraudulent claims, or disruption of events. We may decline, suspend or remove accounts, pitches or event access for violations, misrepresentation, or non-payment, with or without refund as per our Refund Policy.
9. Third-party payments
Payments are processed by third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay). Your payment data is handled by the gateway under its own terms; we do not store your card details.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. Pitch Karo India does not guarantee funding, investment, investor meetings, media coverage or business outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform or an event is limited to the fee you paid for that event.
11. Changes, law & contact
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at our registered location having jurisdiction. Questions: hello@pitchkaroindia.com.
